Essentia Health Foundation
The Essentia Health Foundation is proud to partner once again with the Lake Superior 
Dragon Boat Festival for its tenth anniversary. The Foundation has been the charitable partner for the festival eight of 10 years, receiving $466,435 for a variety of programs, services and equipment relating to cancer and most recently, breast cancer.
For the upcoming festival, Essentia Health Foundation's funding priority will focus on patient navigation and survivorship support services for patients and survivors of breast cancer. With the funds raised, the Essentia Breast Health Center will hire a navigator who will coordinate all aspects of care for breast cancer patients, as well as develop programs that will address the physical, emotional and spiritual needs of breast cancer survivors.
